Birmingham City were denied all three points in the closing seconds as Brighton & Hove Albion fought back to claim a 2-2 draw at St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.
Océane Hurtré opened the scoring after just eight minutes, winning possession from the Brighton defence before driving into the box and finishing into the bottom corner.
Lily Crosthwaite doubled Blues’ advantage shortly after the break, converting Hurtré’s delivery at the far post to score her first goal of the season.
Brighton responded through Olivia Garcia with 14 minutes remaining before Kiko Seike struck deep into stoppage time to level the scores and deny Amy Merricks’ side a first victory since returning to The WSL.
