We look ahead to this afternoon's Sky Bet Championship clash at the MKM Stadium

Birmingham City go in search of back-to-back wins this afternoon when they take on Hull City at the MKM Stadium (3pm).
Chris Davies' side come into this fixture on the back of a 2-0 home win over Wrexham last weekend - a welcome result which was Blues' first win in five league games.
The opposition
Up until the last fortnight, Hull City still harboured hopes of being in the automatic promotion mix from the Championship but a run of just one win in five games has derailed their top two ambitions.
Despite that run, the Tigers are firmly in the play-off picture and have their destiny in their own hands with four games left to play.
Overall, this season has been a successful one so far for Hull, who many people might have tipped to be struggling at the other end of the division after they were hit with a three-window transfer restriction meaning they could only sign players on loan or via free transfers.
Joe Gelhardt
However, that restriction was reduced to two windows last summer, meaning that the Tigers will be able to spend again after the end of the current campaign, but credit must be given to the job that Sergej Jakirovic has done on Humberside since taking over before the season started.
Hull currently sit sixth in the table, four points clear of closest challengers Wrexham in seventh. Current form might be cause for concern, with last Saturday's defeat at Sheffield United meaning it's now one win in five for the Humberside outfit.
With just four games to go it would be quite a turnaround if one of the chasers could overhaul the Tigers, and they could further tighten their grip on a play-off spot with victory this afternoon.
Recent action
Prior to today's game, Blues returned to winning ways with a comfortable 2-0 home win over Wrexham last Sunday courtesy of goals from Carlos Vicente and Christoph Klarer.
Hull City, meanwhile, slipped to a 2-1 defeat against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane - a result which means it's now one win in five for the Tigers.
Pre-match thoughts
Birmingham City manager Chris Davies: "The attitude of the team has looked completely different in the last couple of games. We've been much more competitive and we need to build on that."
Hull City head coach Sergej Jakirović “We move forward, we have four games to go, and now Saturday is a very important game for us. If you want to achieve something you have to take three points, no matter who is the opponent. We are in a fantastic position and we create our own destiny.”

Hull City 0-2 Birmingham City – Sky Bet Championship – 16 October 2022
Blues continued their improved Championship form with a win at struggling Hull City, in a game which kicked off 20 minutes late because the goals were too big.
After the posts were sawn down to size it was the away side who took the lead when Troy Deeney slammed home a penalty, after Krystian Bielik was pulled to ground in the area by Jacob Greaves.
Blues doubled their advantage shortly after the interval through Juninho Bacuna's thumping finish from 25 yards.
It could, and maybe should, have been worse for the managerless hosts but Deeney crashed a penalty way over the crossbar after Tahith Chong was felled in the area by Tigers goalkeeper Nathan Baxter.
Those attending are urged to enjoy the game in a safe and positive manner, recognising the impact that any anti-social behaviour will have on other spectators. The Club reiterates its zero-tolerance policy on violence, drunkenness and pyrotechnics. In particular, any individual carrying or using pyrotechnics will be arrested and also subject to possible legal action. In addition to this, anybody throwing missiles will be subject to the Club's disciplinary matrix. Supporters are also reminded that there is no place for any discrimination within football and Birmingham City will continue to push for its eradication across the game.
